Hi, I have a lot of pimples on my face especiallyon the hair line. Also, I pick a lot. Its a bad habit and I don't know how to stop it. I have combination skin and already have special products from a doctor. I just need recipes, tricks, and tips about how to get rid of it without having to buy expensive products.
How do you get rid of acne without proactiv and other treatments?
It's hard to break the habit, but the less you pick the better off you are. Limit how much you touch your face all together (resting your head on your hand, rubbing your eyes...), because that adds a lot of oil and hands are really dirty.
The best way I've learned to maintain clearer skin is with blotting sheets. My favorite are Clean %26amp; Clear Oil Absorbing Sheets. They come in a little blue pack for $5 for 50. Mid-afternoon I pat down my face (in particular my nose to deal with black heads and around the hair line where oil from your hair makes a mess) and that has helped clear my face a lot. If you're a picker because you find it satisfying, you might find turning the little blotting sheet clear from your oil very satisfying, too!
Good luck! How do you get rid of acne without proactiv and other treatments?
Here is what I started doing:
1 tbps of coconut oil (consume throughout the day)
consume 2 ibprophens to reduce swelling of the pimples
rub a little coconut oil on your face at night
use backing soda and water paste in the morning
eat more apples and cucumbers they really help to clear up your face. Also, add honey to your diet!
Coconut oil is fairly cheap and don't waste your hard earned money on Proactiv
Wash your face more, like after school or work, in the mornings, and before you go to bed... You could also put your hair into a pony-tail or bun, to keep the hair oils off of your face... I hope that helps=) good luck with it=)
LEMON JUICE! i use it every night it works great! just apply the lemon juice directly to the acne. It drys out your face, and thats why it works so well.
