What is the best foundation for acne prone skin?

I don't have to many pimples, but I would like to cover up what I do have. What will make my skin look flawless (or almost flawless) My skin is also oily.What is the best foundation for acne prone skin?
Anything non-comedogenic. It should say on the box.


(That means that it won't block your pores.)





Personally, I use Prescriptives. It's not the greatest- it's pricey and you can tell that I'm wearing it if you look closely. It's hard to find a foundation that looks 100% natural.





Also keep in mind that the lighter (less heavy) the foundation is, the better.

i have oily breakout skin. I use Prescriptives! my skin is gorgeous now with oil control. I use the Immediate Matte toner after i wash my face then a serum then i skip moisterizer and use Virtual Matte makeup. all from Prescriptives. IT WORKS. Period. i have no breakouts, and oil control. Makeup stays on beautifully all day
Bare Minerals. It doesn't clog pores and the minerals it contains are actually good for skin. My skin has actually cleared up since I started using the stuff and I have super sensative skin. And you really can sleep in it.

i also have acne and it not a lot so i went to a dermatologist and the recommended a lot of products.so i tried a couple and i had allergic reactions to them until i used mac make up witch is really expensive i pay $30 for one case
If your skin is oily, then I would suggest you use powder based foundations


Stay away from liquid or mousse ones, and they might make it worse.


Also, wear as little as you can, as too much make up can irritate the skin, leading to more pimples sometimes

too faced magic wand its about 40 bucks but cheaper option is to opt for pure by maybelline. i have the same problem. i personally dont like powder foundations. just make sure if your going for liquid or mousse that its water based and oil free, and set it with loose powder, it minimizes my shine for hours

I would reccomend mineral makeup, but you might want to stay away from the brands that have the bismuth ingredient like mary kay, avon, bare minerals, sheer cover, pure minerals and those in the drugstores. Bismuth is a skin irritant and will only aggrivate acne prone skin. I found that out the hard way.
