What is the best acne product you can buy without a prescription?

What non prescription acne product will help get rid of my acne the best and keep it away? Life for example proactive, clean and clear, etc. like either in a kit or one product thanks. What is the best acne product you can buy without a prescription?
The best acne treatment is a jug of water. I'm serious, you don't need anything fancy like Fiji water. Just a big bottle of water. Keep it next to you all day and drink 2-3 liters everyday. This helps moisturize your skin and clears out junk from your bloodstream. This will help stop breakouts in the long term.

In the short term, all you need is baking soda, aspirin and honey. Mix the baking soda with a bit of water and lightly massage your face then rinse off. Then crush up the aspirin tablets, mix with a little bit of water and massage onto your face. leave this on for 10-15 minutes and then rinse off. Finally, put some honey on your face and leave it on for 10-15 minutes.

The combination of the above three will clean pores, dry up breakouts, prevent future breakouts and moisturize your skin. However this is only temporary because as your learn to drink more and more water everyday, your body will start to adjust internally. You'll start having less cravings for junk food and your body will be able to deal with the inner problems that lead to acne in the first place.

This means no more breakouts, ever. What is the best acne product you can buy without a prescription?
There is this new popular cream that people have been talking about.

It was even televised on TV.

It prevents future and existing acne, diminishes scars, and lightens skin and blemishes. Fast results too! (It's been claimed that major results can be seen within a week and no later than two weeks)

Before and After photos are available at the given ebay site.

This person is providing 1-3 week trial samples (Only for ONE DOLLAR.. definitely a deal) on ebay at:

Search up ';Cee En's Acne Solution'; or ';best acne solution ever'; on ebay.

First 100 customers can get the item for $1 for one week trial and up to 3 weeks. Or you can purchase 1 month supply for $40 or 6 month supply for $160

It's expensive, but the product DOES work.

My sister and cousin who both have major acne have tried the product and they both give it thumbs up. I have also heard many great feedbacks about this cream.

I don't have a problem with acne, but it seems to have great results on my sister who has moderate to severe acne. Her acne swelling went away overnight.

I hope this helps. =)
Well,I do have terrible acne and I found that my skin type is sensitive skin and it makes me harder to find the right products that I could use to reduce my acne. That is when I tried Clinique 3 Steps Skincare Regime and it really works for my acne and now I have less breakouts after 3 months usage and I only need to work on my scars from my previous acne to improve my skin complexion.Since Clinique 3 Steps works for all skin types,I would recommend you to try this product since it has the basics of skincare regime and work wonders on your skin. However, you could also try these homemade remedies if you want to improve your chance of healing.Good luck trying these at home(:

Honey Paste-Another easy and effective homemade acne treatment is to make a paste of honey with cinnamon and nutmeg. All you need is about one teaspoon of cinnamon powder and about half of it nutmeg powder. Add some honey to make enough paste to cover the inflammed area completely. Just lie down as honey may dribble down. Wait for 10 to 15 minutes and wash with luke warm water.

Orange peel-Homemade Acne Treatment using Orange peel has been found very effective. Pound the orange peel with water on a piece of stone and apply to acne affected areas.

Basil tea-Basil tea like neem is effective in killing bacteria. Drinking it twice a day can do wonders to the skin.

Coconut Oil-Coconut oil is a cheap and easily available acne solution. Regular use of coconut oil over a period of time helps to clear your skin.

Lemon Juice-A simple remedy at home for acne: Apply lemon juice regularly to reduce pimples and acne. This has proven beneficial results.

Well, these are the remedies that work gentle on your skin while getting rid of acne.Hope this helps and great skin wishes
Pro-Craptive - it bleached my towels, and burned my face on the surface, while the acne continued down below what did work for me is tea tree oil. You have to dilute it, especially if you have sensative skin, it's at Vitamin World, but what i think works best for me is the tea tree oil products at The Body Shop in the mall. I know it seems trite, but it's helped me. I bought the face wash, the scrub, and the lotion.

Hope this helps, and if you don't pick me, at least know that I was honest.
Be really careful of a lot of acne treatments. Many just don't work. I found this out the hard way as both of my kids suffered from acne and we tried many things and nothing really helped. This was pretty devastating for them. Finally one of our friends recommended a book called Acne No More which they got hold of and followed. They were extremely pleased with the results. Out of sheer frustration, we bought it,hoping that it would be helpful. We followed the advice in the book and didn't take any shortcuts and could not believe the changes in Matt and Amy's acne. It was quite remarkable. If you want info on this book go to http://www.acnenaturaltreatments.org/great/worthwhie.php I think it could help you.
Look into this website, they have some excellent treatments for your problem:

  • What is the best acne system on the market?

I recently tried Proactiv and, although it cleared my skin, the repairing lotion dries up my face to the point of peeling. Is there anyhting better that can keep my skin clear, but still not dry out my entire face? Would Olay's hydrate and cleanse products help at all? What is the best acne system on the market?
there is no miracle product for acne, because its caused by inside factors ,the best to go to a dermatologist to see what your acne is caused by and make an appointment to do a facial, for a deep skin and acne cleansing. Its best if you keep the skin very clean (wash it at least 2x daily) and try MARIO BADESCU pimple drying lotion, apply it only on the pimples so it doesn't dry the whole face. And its very important to hydrate the skin,my opinion the best is a pure aloe vera gel because it hydrates the skin it doesn't contains any oil(what actually can produce more breakouts) and has a very high healing propriety. What is the best acne system on the market?
I THINK A GOOD MOISTURISER LIKE OLAY WUD HELP.
OK I just answered this question to another person, but this is what I told him/her.

    Don't eat or drink lactose!

There was this pharmacist ans she said don't drink or eat lactose like milk, cheese, ice cream, etc... but do drink soy milk! I know it sounds so weird! but it works! I was like I don't want to do a stupid diet! but It worked after I had it with it!

she said it comes from the inside not from out like dirt or whatever but it's usually both!

so do the diet and wash your face with warm water then cold with a face cream!

    trust me it works!
    proactive
ProActive is the best stuff out there. Just lighten up on the repair lotion...maybe only use it 3 times a week and let your skin get used to this product before using it every day. I went thru the same thing with ProActive but it is working fine for me now. :)
Acutane, but you need to see your doctor. It is very hard on your body, but after I used it, I never had a problem again.
Clean and Clear works really well. You might want to try Proactiv again adn take some face moisturizer as well.
arent you just supposed to put that stuff on individual pimples instead of your entire face?

    well .. i wouldnt know .. anyways

the best thing to do is go to your doctor.

i would recommend St Ives, the scrub with salicylic acid or the face wash\cleanser with salicylic acid %26amp; tea tree oil

you need a good moisturizer, try an oil-free and hypoallergenic one. i use nivea soft with vitamin E %26amp; jojoba oil, but i guess it might clog your pores
    http://www.beautipage.com/dudetteji/
I personally think that Mary Kay has the best acne treatment gel. If you use it in conjunction with their daily moisturizer (Velocity) it won't cause breakouts and will clear up existing acne without drying your skin out. And no, I don't sell Mary Kay. :)
I so agree with robyn T mary kay is the best. Cleared me up and didn't dry me out.
definitely proactive it works in like 1 day. good luck!
Proactiv is the best. Start out only using the repairing lotion a couple times a week until your skin gets used to it. It will eventually work for you on a daily basis and you'll love it!
a few of my friends used proavtiv and it worked excellent! even to use to upkeep the skins surface its great!
    proactive

What is the best acne product to clear up your face?

My face keeps breaking out, and i want to try proactive, but people tell me it makes you break out worse. Does anybody know if it's good? Or is there better? What is the best acne product to clear up your face?
I tried proactive and it made my face worse. They said that's nromal just wait it out. Well when your trying to fight blemishes you want results. I also tried skin ID rather expensive and no results. If you want to fight acne, the best way to treat it is from the inside out. I have found some good products at a health store online. Not only do they offer acne products, but they offer other healthful remedies. What is the best acne product to clear up your face?
hi. there are several good products out there, but they can all work differently depending on your skin type, reactions, etc. i've heard mixed reviews on Proactive. i've done a fair amount of research on this, as it's one of my subjects of interest, and i can recommend one product in particular that i've seen a lot of good feedback, etc. on. It's a revolutionary new acne treatment system called Acnezine. It treats your acne from the inside out, has no side effects, and is dermatologist recommended with guaranteed results. It goes to the source of the acne, and not only removes your current breakout, but helps prevent future breakouts that you don't even know you have yet. It's a natural treatment system that heals blemishes including spots, whiteheads pimples, redness, pus, and blackheads. It provides antioxidants that help eliminate the 'free radicals' that can cause acne. It's safe and effective, and works to cleanse the entire body. It will help keep new blemishes from forming. There's some helpful info and products at the site below. let me know if that helps you. thanks.
    Save your dollars.

Proactiv will only make things worse for you.

    Go natural.watch your diet.

How do I control acne caused from running?

I have really bad acne on the back of my legs from running. I don't have acne otherwise, and I don't stay in sweaty clothes any longer than I have to after my runs. Is there anything I can do besides scrubbing the s*hit out of them every day?How do I control acne caused from running?
Weird. Try getting soap with 3% salicylic acid in it ( I use that), tht can reduce acne. Also an antibiotic (oral) can wipe it out. I had to take some Augmentin for another infection and WOW it KO'd my minor acne. How do I control acne caused from running?
I just thought of something; could it be an allergy to grass? If you sit in grass all sweaty, it can cause bumps. I get that, so I don't sit in the grass unless I have long pants on. Report Abuse

Running does not cause acne. It is possible that stress can make acne worse. If that was the case then it would not be just on your legs. Have you spoken to a dermatologist? Besides scrubbing there are several over the counter acne medications that are very effective. Try some of the ointments from the drug store. Do not over scrub your legs, just keep them clean and get rid of the excess oil.
I've suffered from acne, been on antibiotics for it the lot, and running doesn't cure it. Getting out in the sun and fresh air is better for your acne and I was adviced to spend as much time out running and hiking (only because I told him they were my current interests - it was just the get out bit) as I possibly could to expose my skin to the sun and the fresh air. Also as Lestermount has mentioned stress can be a cause, and running relieves stress; so no matter how you look at it running would reduce not cause acne symptoms. Its either not acne but something else, or is it acne restricted to your legs but which is unconnected to running. I would just treat your legs the same way you would your face, and possibly see a doctor.
Put the same things that you do for your face on the back of your legs. Give them a facial, make sure that they are dry and then put some acne cream on them.
Try switching Laundry detergent. You may be having a reaction to the sweat mixing with the soap. Try running in shorts. If you already are then I would say a dermatologist is in order. It's weird that you have it only on your legs.

What is the best acne treatment out there that is suited for me?

I have moderate acne and a few acne scars on my face, chest, back, and shoulders. I am in serious need of the best acne treatment out there. Please help! What is the best acne treatment out there that is suited for me?
It depends on the type of acne. Talk to a dermatologist. But what worked for me was tanning. 5 minutes in a tanning bed three times a week took care of most of my acne, especially on the back, chest, and shoulders. my dermatologist prescribed differin gel for my face and it worked to. What is the best acne treatment out there that is suited for me?
tanning is not good for your skin, increase the chance of having skin cancer, i do not recommend that, what my friends used and what i'm using right now for pimple is Oratane also known as Recatane. there are sight effects to it, but deffinately work and pimple will never come back again in ur live Report Abuse

Although there is no cure, acne treatments are available to help control breakout activity. Acne treatments are divided into three categories: topical, systemic, and procedural. The course of treatment is determined by the type and severity of acne.

Knowing your grade of acne will help you choose the most effective treatment plan. Grade I and Grade II (mild to moderate acne) can often be treated with over-the-counter products. A dermatologist must treat Grade III and Grade IV (moderately severe to severe, or cystic acne).

It's common to try several treatments before finding the one that works for you. Try not to get discouraged. And remember, with any acne treatment or therapy, consistency is key to a successful outcome.
I wish you well in whatever choice that you make. My son had acne and I do know the distress that it can bring. Not to be taken lightly.

Whatever choice of product you take, make sure that it has a money back guarantee in order that you product your purchase.

I also agree that you should see a dermatologist. I suggest that as welll as clearpores, you do have a look at the exposed acne product.

Also ensure that you check your diet to ensure that you are eating plenty of vegetables and fruit and also a simple tip to implement is to drink plenty of water each day.

    Good luck with your decision

I think using Clearpores and other surface treatment work temporarily. I used to have a lot of acne just like you (all over my body, not just my face) but I find that rubbing all those lotions and cleansers is too much trouble.

Anyway, I came across a study that shows that people from other cultures that eat a good diet almost NEVER have acne...even when they are going through puberty. But as soon as they changed their diets, acne started to flare up like crazy.

What I did is to change my diet (no milk, no refined carbs, more fruits and vegetables, more whole grains) and also take a vitamin supplement. My acne breakouts much less now. I have the occassional pimple here and there, but it was a drastic improvement of what I used to have.

You don't have to buy expensive products to vanish those irritaing acne, you can try different home remedies. Do you know that yoga can cure acne? Try it! it will help your blood circulation increase. Your acne was due to too much dirt, you can try using papaya fruit with lemon. It will help vanish your acne scars. Just mash the papaya, add the lemon juice and scrub it. It's effectve! there are lots of remedies that you can do to get rid of acne. Just check the site bellow.
You should see a dermatologist. I also had moderate acne, so i didn't think that it was bad enough to see a doctor about, but no store product worked for me. And if you're starting to get scars, then that's just another reason why you should go to a derm, before the scars just get worse. They will prescribe a strong medicaton that will work for your skin.
It really depends on the type of skin you have and what is causing your acne breakouts. There are a dozen treatments that promise the world but are really disappointing. Your best bet is to ask your dermatologist as they will know more about your specific condition.
If you're looking for over the counter stuff, check out Zenmed, they have really good acne products, especially for scars.

    http://www.clearskinacne.com/products
Its hormones, maybe you should go to your doc. or dermatologist and see what they can do. I used to have such bad acne, what I did was detox often and take my vitamins.
If your acne is already cystic than Clearpores may help.

But for the scars, Clearpores is not going to be much help.

Best to talk to a dermatologist
Go to the dermatologist. They'll tell you which product is best for your skin or they'll prescribe you with some acne medication.
Your best bet would be to take a look at http://www.globalacneremedies.com they have the best acne advice available.

How do I treat acne scarred skin discoloration and uneven skin tone?

I am of asian and latino descent, I have combination skin and huge pores. My skin gets congested and sensitive very easily. What can I do to correct my acne and clogged pores? How about uneven skin tone and skin discoloration from acne scars? How do I treat acne scarred skin discoloration and uneven skin tone?
I would suggest you use products from zenmed for all your problems. I have being using them and have found their effectiveness amazing and results in a short period. You have a vast choice of products from them for treating acne and other issues associated with it. I would recommend you use the derma cleanse acne gel which is a natural spot treatment formula that clears facial acne fast and also unclogs pores and removes bacteria and dirt from the skin.

For the acne scars you could try using zenmed's scars and hyperpigmentation treatment kit. With this product I have experienced that even the most stubborn and dark scar marks fade away.

All zenmed products are completely herbal, non-comedogenic and as such could be used on any type of skin without the fear of experiencing any type of skin reaction. How do I treat acne scarred skin discoloration and uneven skin tone?
    Remedies For Reducing Acne Scars

    * Apply aloe vera (gel or juice) to heal (and prevent) acne scars. Be careful when you choose your brand because most claim pure organic material. One good brand is Fruit of the Earth. If there's hyperpigmentation, aloe vera can take time to fade them.

    * Rosehip seed oil is another option that can work for you. It can regenerate new skin and fade the skin discoloration caused by acne scarring. Take time to massage onto scars twice daily.

    * Lavender oil is also used to promote new cell regeneration to improve acne scars. Gently massage onto affected area.

    * Topical skin lightening creams give the fastest results, and can inhibit and get rid of the melanin content that causes the hyperpigmentation. Try Dermaline skin whitening cream. Works well for dark acne scars.
The best thing is first to clear the congestion by using a foam cleanser, toner and a light moisturizer with SPF 15 daily. The sunblock will prevent the marks from further darkening Clean %26amp; Clear range (Johnson %26amp; Johnsons) is good try.

Loreal also have products for oily skin

Weekly scrub (not on pimples) and use clay mask to clear yr skin. This will help to reduce the oiliness, lighten marks and the pores will appear finer. Pls remove all traces of foundation/powder every nite before bedtime. Eat fruits %26amp; veg plus drink 6 glasses of water daily too.Vit C helps heal skin.good luck!
I've got the perfect solution for you. It is an amazing organic oil that has been popular in Israel and Morocco for years. It is called Argan oil, and it contains all the necessary vitamins and natural elements to nourish, moisturize, and rejuvenate your skin hair and nails. it absorbs into your skin and hair very fast, faster than most creams and lotions. It has been used by the Berber women of Morocco for centuries its use in skin, hair, nail, and therapeutic treatments. We used it on my nephew's psoriasis and it worked miracles. It is even ideal for oily skin since it contains a sebum regulating action. I grew up in France and have been using it for years, and I love it. You can find it in all the spas and salons over there, and it's popular with European models. For some reason it only grows in Morocco which makes it even more exotic. Make sure it is always deodorized( the natural smell is very overbearing), and certified. Moroccan Argan oil is usually certified by European standards. I found one website that had the most info on it, and directions for all its different applications. I contacted them and they said don't start selling for two weeks though. You can register at their website for a discount and future promotions.

Sadly if you tried proactiv and had little success I'd suggest clean and clear ? I think it can be bought for under $20

Otherwise if you don't promise to do the wash, toner and spot treat acne twice a day nothing may work but a trip to the dermatologist.

Also try using stridex type pads after school -

or before you start your day after washing your face.
I know it is kinda embarassing, but just go to the dermatologist.

If you want to stick with DIY home treatments, I would suggest Olay Regenerist Microdermabrasion %26amp; Peel System at nights. Then finish off with Olay Daily Regenerating Serum and Night Recovery Moisturizing Treatment. Just because the skin is oily doesn't mean it doesn't need moisture. I found out that products like Proactive series are harsh over time. Now that my skin has changed after pregnancies, the Olay products have been much more helpful at fading out any blemishes and dark spots. Good luck to you!
Scars are hyperpigmentation of the skin. Go to a spa in your area with good reviews, ask for their website, and also seach them on the web, you can find reviews there. They most likely would have facials and spot treatment, recommeneded from the Esthetician for you. Dermalogica works for me for daily care, and they have spot treatment medicine also. Good luck!
maybe mederma might help?? it's for reducing the apperance of scars so i dont know why it wouldnt work on acne scars, too!!

What is the best acne treatment or product that clears skin fast and doesn't dry skin. Tell me a product that you have used and it works for you. I have tried many acne creams but they usually dry my skin and create a rash, so my skin is sensitive. Please help me. Thanks! What is the best acne treatment or product?
When your skin is dry, it produces MORE oil to combat the dryness, so that causes your pores to clog and makes you break out.

During the day, use witchazel as a toner, and apple cider vinegar at night (because it stinks, but you'll get used to it). They will clean your skin without drying it out.

There is no magic potion to get rid of acne; You have to battle it from the inside and out:

STOP eating and drinking foods with refined or artificial sugars, like high fructose corn syrup or aspartame/phenylalanine. Up your vitamin C, A and K. Do some exercise like dancing or yoga. Get a little sun everyday, like about 10 minutes. Drink more water.

Many beauty products on the market have harmful chemicals in them; do your favorite beauty products contain any of these things?:

    * Mineral Oil, Paraffin %26amp; Petrolatum – Petroleum products coat the skin like plastic, clogging pores and creating a build-up of toxins, which in turn accumulate and can lead to dermatological issues, like slowing cellular development, which can cause you to show earlier signs of aging. Suspected cause of cancer %26amp; Disruptive of hormonal activity. By the way, when there’s an oil spill in the ocean, don’t they rush to clean it up – fast? Why put that stuff on your skin?

    * Parabens – Widely used as preservatives in the cosmetic industry (including moisturizers). An estimated 13,200 cosmetic and skin care products contain parabens. Studies implicate their connection with cancer. They have hormone-disrupting qualities – mimicking estrogen – and interfere with the body’s endocrine system.

    * Phenol carbolic acid– Found in many lotions and skin creams. Can cause circulatory collapse, paralysis, convulsions, coma and even death from respiratory failure.

    * Propylene glycol – Used as a moisturizer in cosmetics and as a carrier in fragrance oils. Shown to cause dermatitis, kidney or liver abnormalities, and may inhibit skin cell growth or cause skin irritation.

    * Acrylamide– Found in many hand and face creams. Linked to mammary tumors in lab research.

    * Sodium laurel or lauryl sulfate (SLS), also known as sodium laureth sulfate (SLES)– Found in car washes, engine degreasers, garage floor cleaners… and in over 90% of personal care products! SLS breaks down the skin’s moisture barrier, easily penetrates the skin, and allows other chemicals to easily penetrate. Combined with other chemicals, SLS becomes a “nitrosamine”, a potent class of carcinogen. It can also cause hair loss. SLES is sometimes disguised with the labeling “comes from coconut” or “coconut-derived

    * Toluene – Poison! Danger! Harmful or fatal if swallowed! Harmful if inhaled or absorbed through the skin. Made from petroleum or coal tar, and found in most synthetic fragrances. Chronic exposure linked to anemia, lowered blood cell count, liver or kidney damage, and may affect a developing fetus. Butylated hydroxytoluene (BHT) contains toluene. Other names may include benzoic and benzyl.

    * Dioxane– Found in compounds known as PEG, Polysorbates, Laureth, ethoxylated alcohols. Common in a wide range of personal care products. The compounds are usually contaminated with high concentrations of highly volatile 1,4-dioxane, easily absorbed through the skin. Dioxane’s carcinogenicity was first reported in 1965 and later confirmed in studies including one from the National Cancer Institute in 1978. Nasal passages and liver are the most vulnerable. Dioxane is easily removed during the manufacturing process by “vacuum stripping”.

Warning: It is a synthetic derivative of coconut. Watch for hidden language on labels, such as “comes from coconut”.

IF SO, you should throw them away IMMEDIATELY and you can substitute virgin/extra virgin olive oil or a natural coconut oil to moisturize in the meantime until you find a better, natural alternative!!! Tell ALL your friends and family!!!What is the best acne treatment or product?
Acne treatments consist of reducing sebum production, removing dead skin cells, and killing bacteria with topical drugs and oral medications. Treatment choice depends upon whether the acne is mild, moderate, or severe.

I have tried SO many acne products. I started taking Yaz a couple months ago for my acne, I am currently pimple free. I freaked out at first because it seemed to be better but within 3 weeks there was no trace of a pimple on my face. The only time I get pimples now is one or two when I have my period!
USE DIFFERIN but you will have to ask a doctor first cus it's prescription. yaz also works reallywell but it takes a little while. the way differin works is by making ur skin shed faster which sounds gross but it means that you can't get zits or wrinkles.

What is the best acne treatment for oily skin?

I have a ton of blackheads, whiteheads, and I have cysts! UGH! It's truely terrible. My mom wants me to go to the dermatologist, and I want to try some stuff from best bath store. Anyone have any suggestions? What is the best acne treatment for oily skin?
ProActive and Clearisil are the two best products I've EVER used!

Go out and try 'em!What is the best acne treatment for oily skin?
I have used Proactiv for 8 years after spending probably thousands of dollars on Dermatologist's, creams, pills and treatments. The last Dr. told me it would not work but it did. I use it now once a day and still get compliments on my complexion. The price has been reduced to $19.99. There are 4 people in my family that use it. My sister, niece,

    my son and I.
Try this simple remedy. Wash your face twice a day in warm salty water. This should leave your face oil free without aggravating the pimples like soap. The secret of keeping the skin clear is to keep it oil-free and clean. More such solutions at http://solutionsforpimples.blogspot.com/

What is the best acne medication you have ever used?

I have used alot of stuff.

ProActive does not work for me

so i was wondering if any one knows any really good working stuff that you ahve used yourself.

I really dont have pimples i just have blackheads which is annoying, and the occasional pimple.

Really, anything helps. What is the best acne medication you have ever used?
I use Neutrogena Acne Stress control and it works for me!

= ]What is the best acne medication you have ever used?
I've been in that situation and there is really nothing you can do about it. There are things you can do to try to reduce the blemishes and get rid of acne/pimples temporarily but you will always be finding yourself cleaning your face or your body depending on where it's at.

I mean of course your acne should go away eventually but for some this is the case their whole life.

I'm 29 years old and have been suffering from these little pests since I was a teenager. I tried all sorts of face washes from the local grocery store and what not, but nothing seemed to work. If anything it would just make my skin dry and itchy.

Literally the best acne face wash I've ever used has been this stuff called clearpores. It has got rid of the acne to quickest and has been a success ever since I got it. It's unique cause of it's herbal supplement you take a long with it that helps your skin from the inside out. I saved money on it at skincleansingsystem dot com at the time which was helpful.

You should really look into this stuff and if you can to assure the best results, get the 3 month supply because if it doesn't work it will still save you butt on the return policy.

Well good luck and best wishes.
Julie's answer is right. I used to have terrible acne, and I was allergic to benzoyl peroxide. Though if you have more blackheads than pimples, you'll want to use exfoliating face wash more than acne creams. If you go get a facial, you can have them clear out your pores for you. Expensive, but gets the majority of your face clear.
your skin sounds alot like mine! i use st.ives apricot scrub-blackhead %26amp; pimple control. it invigorates really well and it takes out alll the dirt oil and crap hiding in those pores, while leaving your skin really smooth! :) and wow i really sound like a commercial right now... but it works give it a try ;) i tried it years ago and its the only thing ill ever use! :)
    ProActive is BAD!

You shoudl use for blackheads: Clean and Clear Blackhead Scrub.

For pimples: Clean and Clear ANYTHING!

Also, my friends have used Skin ID by neutrogena and LOVED IT! Because it's just personalized just for you. Check out their website and a test to see what you need.

differin was the best i ever used.. if you have zits.. not a full red face.... just add to the zit.. and over night.. its gone.....

now differin is very expensive (100 bucks +)... so buy the generic substitute with the exact same active ingrediants... called ZapZyt...(like 8 bucks). im sure you saw it in 'meet the spartans'... you can buy it in wal-mart
panoxyl 10% benzol peroxide... they have it at most drugstores, this works pretty well for me, however i'd suggest you go to a dermatoligist if you have the money to buy what they recomend! it is usually more powerful and works faster!
Retin A, Rx, benzoyl peroxide, oral antibiotics, topical cleocin, dove soap. mineral powder makeup, no liquids too much bacteria. later, obagi nuderm. and peel and laser, 20yrs after first line meds above inc BCP,
I used to have tons of black heads. but i tried this product my mom bought me .. it smells bad... but it works really well...

Noxzema Products are good products they have several different kinds some for like acne %26amp; blackheads. You can find these products at your local Wal-Mart or Target. They work really good!Hope this Helps.Good Luck!
BenzaClin works like a charm, a cream used at night and prescribed by any doctor.
To get rid of blackheads, I'd use stuff with salytic acid(forgot how to spell it) and some of the creams smell really good.
I really liked Murad..It is the only thing that has worked for me. It has a mask that comes with it that really helps with blackheads too.
Masturbation! Oh, you said acne medication.
if proactive doesnt work dont use anything w/ peroxide cuz thats what proactive is. . . use something w/ salicylic acid
for black heads its gunna sound stupid but the Clean and Clear blackhead eraser worked really well for me.
Cetaphil. It is pricy but aimed for adults.

Is there any natural acne remedies or tricks that have worked really good for any one?

On Christmas day last year I woke up and realized I had broken out really bad on my forehead and every since then I've tried tons of things to make it go away, but nothing has worked...Anyone have any ideas? Is there any natural acne remedies or tricks that have worked really good for any one?
    hey Bridge,

if you're only breaking out on your forehead you're pretty lucky believe it or not. having acne in an isolated area is much easier to deal with than having it all over your face.

that said, it doesn't sound like it's become common knowledge yet that you shouldn't put any chemicals on breakouts, you'll most likely make it worse and make it scar.

if you treat it from the inside you get faster results, less scarring, and you're preventing new breakouts...which is a good thing i say :opIs there any natural acne remedies or tricks that have worked really good for any one?
I use to have really bad acne and tried EVERYTHING!!!! I know that when pimples have a white head, you naturally want to pop it. If you must pop pimples, right after, put rubbing alcohol on them so that way it dries up all of the puss and what not coming out of them. Then right after you wash your face put a dab of lanicane on the pimple and it dries it out really good! Lanicane is a little pricey but def worth it since you only use little dabs at once
TEA TREE OIL is great for skin problems, It is good for pimples when you first get them and helps to heal others you may have picked at. I use it at night and if I am home, throughout the day. You can find it at Kmart, Walmart, Pamida and some grocery stores in the vitamin sections, etc. It does have a strong odor but works. Wish you well.
Dissolve an aspirin in about a tablespoon of water. Dab that on the break out. It will dry up the pimples by the next day. At least it worked for me. I developed adult acne at 50. And this method is way cheaper than the Salisylic acid cream - which is really just aspirin anyway.

How bad is your acne or the symptoms during the 4th or 5th month of accutane?

I'm about to go on the drug accutane for my acne. I will be going on vacation in july. Then, would be my 4th month or 5th month while on accutane. I would like to know how my symptoms would be.How bad is your acne or the symptoms during the 4th or 5th month of accutane?
the acne symptoms are pretty much gone by that point. usually after 2-3 months the acne subsides, though you may have a few slight breakouts through your whole course.

oh and don't listen to darla's mom. accutane is effective. in fact, it's the most effective thing available. you can get pregnant after accutane, you just have to wait 1 month. after a month off of accutane, there is no accutane related risk to future pregnancies. How bad is your acne or the symptoms during the 4th or 5th month of accutane?
    FACTS

    =======

One of the most common ways of treating acne is the use of retinoids. Retinoids are substances derived from Vitamin A, which attempt to cure acne by normalizing the lifecycle of follicle cells. There are two types of such substances, based on application: external (topical) and oral. The best known external retinoids are Retin-A, Differin and Tazorac, while the oral retinoids list is headed by the popular Accutane.

However, about one quarter of the patients who used Accutane or other drugs based on isotretinoin may relapse and require additional treatment.

But the biggest drawback of retinoids is the long list of side effects, which sometimes makes retinoids look like a disease rather than a cure.

The most common side effects are dry skin and nosebleeds. Many patients have also reported liver problems, while a few complained of depression. However, the scientific community is still split on the issue of depression. More seriously, isotretinoin is known to cause birth defects, which is why female patients have to use two separate forms of birth control or vow abstinence during the treatment. Pregnant women are not allowed to use anything but the mildest treatments.

The bottom line is that retinoids are a good idea if one can cope with the side effects. This begs the question: why not use something just as effective, but without the side effects. Acne treatment systems, such as ClearPores: http://www.clearpores.com/clicks/clickth鈥?/a> are also popular because of their success in dealing with the condition, but lack the extreme side that makes retinoids a pain to use. The choice between these treatments is yours.
It won't really stop and the side effects are horrible- watch out if you ever want to have babies and are a girl -this stuff is dangerous and inneffective!!- The best way to clear your skin is holistically through diet. You are probably deficient in B vitamins if you are still growing or getting your monthly-Begin by getting a good b complex-no scrip needed and switch to organic and whole foods- watch out for beef and milk containing hormones- they will destroy your skin. use a good cleaning regimen for your skin-natural environmentally friendly soaps work best research online-seek help at a wholefoods store. At least explore the natural options before you poison your body with the short term ';promise'; of a solution that will get you long term damage. Be well-I Hope you make a safer choice.

Clean %26amp; Clear, yes it is an inexpensive brand, but it WORKS. and thats all that matters :)

I believe it is called ';acne spot treatment'; lolWhat is the best acne spot treatment for occasional pimples?
    proactive
well i use some ST.ives for that horibble acne
Dry-Lo by Seriesse International. Go to www.myseriesse.com/bhharris and you can see a video that explains how it works.
yea the clean and clear stuff is amazing. its a little tube that you just put the clear stuff on it and by the next day your pimple will be gone or smaller
i had acne for a long time it also use to come back try this website, its good cause it gives you step by step ways to cure your problem www.acnevictim.com
Personally I like this product: http://www.myzeno.com/

Its expensive, but it works great. You just place it on the acne spot for 2.5 mins, and it feels warm, and its the heat that kills bacteria. You wake up in the morning and the pimple is gone! But just to warn you it doesn't work well for really tiny whiteheads. For spot treatment, I like acnomel from Walmart or benzyl peroxide works well.
um u can try using body shop tea tree cover up..i always use that if not just use acne clear frm watson and apply on the pimples..try sg website at 88db..they gt promotions on beauty pr0ducts..i just bought langeige white emulsion f0r just 40buck frm there..for me,i always bring tea tree blemish stick with me..i used that for spot treatment..
Neutrogena rapid clearing on the spot acne gel does NOT work i have tried it many times and nothing happens

use tee tree oil it is very cheap and you can buy it a chemists and suppermarkets. you just use a cotton ball and dab it on your face.
Neutrogena rapid clearing on the spot acne gel.
The best ever is the Medicated Acne Spot Treatment at Bee-Luscious! You put it on and in the morning the spots GONE! Don't do what I did and try and put it all over because it is WAY to strong for that! OMG it made my face like beat red! Oh the easiest way to get it is order on-line from their web-site.

acne be gone really worked for me when i had bad pimples, its pretty simple too, it moisturized my face, got rid of dry skin, and got rid of my pimples! and its all natural! good luck !!! :)What is the best acne treatment you have ever gotten that works amazingly and continues to work unlike acnefre?
I'd like to share a little something.

I'm 16 years old and had acne for over 7 years. It seemed crazy to me that I was going to a dermatologist at the age of 9.

For 7 years, my mom and I searched for an acne treatment that was right for me. I tried everything you can imagine, from topical gels, to antibiotics, to even products I saw on t.v., like Murad and Proactive. Then my brother got introduced to Accutane. It worked wonders for him. It took me a very long time to finally decide Accutane was something I would try. The possible side affects scared me, but 9 years later, I was willing to try anything. Preparing for Accutane isn't easy. You must get a blood test every month as well as a pregnancy test. Your doctor will help you choose 2 forms of birth control, in case one fails. However, like I mentioned, anything to cure my acne would be amazing. After 7 years of moderate acne, I had no idea what my skin had actually looked like. I was starting to worry because I was in month 5, with only one month to go, and my acne still had work for improvement. Shockingly, right before I was to stop Accutane, my face seemed to clear right up. I still get a pimple here and there, usually right before my period, but it's very easy to cover up with a little make-up. I'm still told that my acne will not FULLY heal until about a year after I ended Accutane. It's almost been a year and I'm extremely happy with the results. My problem with other acne treatments, was that it would semi-work but then I would go off of them, and my acne would come right back. With Accutane, you don't have to worry about that. However, some people go on Accutane a second time because their acne starts to come back after about a year or so. The success rate is incredible. It's definitely worth it, especially if you've tried everything on the market. So speak with your dermatologist to determine if Accutane is right for you.
Well, I'm not sure exactly what will be guaranteed to work on your skin, but if you're skin is very sensitive then you should try limiting the amount of benzoyl peroxide you use. Acnefree actually works for me bc my skin may not be as sensitive as your's, but I know that Acnefree Terminator also contains about 10% benzoyl peroxide, which is a lot. I would recommend Neutrogena products. They aren't as hard on your skin unlike Acnefree. I've tried Clean%26amp;Clear and I can't say that it works for me that well, but what I'm doing now is using Neutrogena's Acne Spot Treatment because there's only 2.5% benzoyl peroxide and it doesn't dry out skin as much as Zapzyt or Acnefree does. Hope I helped!
I use St. Ives Apricot Scrub for Blackheads and Blemishes, it works well. I also have used Clearasil Ultra acne fighting scrub, and it works fairly well. Both are around $5 a tube and I have seen results with both. I have been on accutane, various dermatoligist prescribed creams, and proactiv and this works just as well as the creams and proactiv in my opinion and it costs less.
i used acne be gone, and i cleanse with the green tea every day, after i had acne, and i used pro active, my face got dry, flaky , itchy, burned a lot and really red! that's why i used acne be gone, and it got rid of my acne, redness, and all of the other things i got. from now on i use the green tea cleanser every day, so i wont get it again!
I've used St. Ives, Clearasil, Proactiv, and MANY other products for my severe acne, but none ever worked for me. I'm now on Accutane, prescribed by my dermatologist...but that isn't a cheap treatment. The only thing that even came close to helping my acne was Isopropyl Alchohol. It helps to dry out your face, and leaves it feeling clean. My face isn't sensitive at all, so if your face is sensitive I don't know if it would burn or not.
To wash my face, I use Dove's Sensitive Skin Beauty Bar (it's oil-free). Three or four days a week, I also exfoliate with St. Ives Apricot Scrub (the kind for blemishes %26amp; blackheads). At night after washing, I apply Differin Gel .1% which I got by prescription from my dermatologist. In the morning after washing, I use Velocity moisturizer from Mary Kay (also oil-free), though I'm assuming since you're a guy, you wouldn't want to use it (it smells like MK's Velocity perfume).
Okay heres the golden secret and cure for all acne......NO MILK NO DAIRY NO LACT NO TOSE none of that...i had suffered for years until i found the connection...every human is lactose intolerant some are just more resistant than others, you my friend are one of the normies and we cannot consume any dairy...give it a try...i used to have to use proactive now its just hot water and rag...never been clearer
Both of my children have used acnezine and it works for acne even on the back my son is 22 and still uses this product to keep from breaking out i believe if you go to this site they offer a special .Good luck
Acnezine worked very well for me. It did the job and now I'm free of acne!

Hi there...let me answer your question with detail answer..is that ok with you?

Acne is not a simple condition to treat. It is a skin disease that affects each individual that has it differently. Every case of serious acne has to be looked at as an individual case in order to be properly treated.

There is no catch-all treatment that can be used for every case. Furthermore, a lot of trial and error is usually needed in order to find an effective treatment individual by individual. There are many acne products that are mass-marketed as the best cure for acne. It is very important to realize that products that are marketed towards acne sufferers and that can be bought off the shelf in the supermarket, do not cure acne.

They manage, mask or suppress the symptoms of acne. It is important to recognize this as well as to realize that acne is not a result of bad hygiene. If your acne is progressively getting worse do not think that it is enough to wash your skin often and to use an over the counter product. If your acne is getting worse, seek medical advice for stronger products that might only be available with a prescription.

Acne treatments vary from being off the shelf, over-the-counter creams, prescribed and surgical. Over the counter acne products are usually topical medicines that contain Benzoyl Peroxide or Salicylic Acid.

These are usually used to treat mild cases of acne where an individual is attempting to halt the progression of acne and clear up some troublesome pimples. They can also be used during severe stages of acne in combination with another treatment. Doctors usually recommend that the acne-infected area be washed very gently with warm water and a mild soap and then the topical treatment applied.

When acne progresses to the moderate or severe stage, doctors and dermatologists will usually use a combination of treatments in order for maximum effectiveness in halting any further development of the skin disease. Light therapy and extraction are often used at the moderate stage, in combination with an oral antibiotic or a retinoid cream, depending on the observations and recommendations of your doctor.Since acne is such a complex condition to properly treat, it is not advisable to attempt to self-medicate. If you try over the counter products and they do not work.

Do not give up thinking that you have an incurable case of acne. Seek further professional medical advice. A doctor or a dermatologist will try to stop your acne from getting out of hand and will make an aggressive attempt at using a combination of products to prevent the possibility of acne scarring. If you are serious about putting a halt to your acne, learn about the latest acne fighting products and how they can possibly work for your type of acne from your doctor.

Do not make off the shelf products the extent of your fight against acne. Be as aggressive about fighting acne as acne is about progressing step by step into a serious skin condition.
Find something holistic if you can... Synthetic chemicals such as sulfates are some of the worst for sensitive skin, look for organic products, even better if they have an expiry date. Check in your local health food store or natural pharmacy. Products with small amounts of tea tree oil, or grapefruit seed extract are great for acne prone skin.
Well i've been using proactiv for months now and it's taken a great affect. However, i'm not sure how it would work for your sensitive skin. You should go to a dermatologist and ask what him/her recommends to get for the sensitivity.

Worked for my EXTRA sensitive skin
I don't like using home remidies because they never worked. I use clearasil. I have fair and REALLY senstive skin.

It doesn't make it dry or turn red, I swear by Clearasil

What is the best acne medication for a good price, thats cheaper than proactiv?

proactiv is pretty expensive, but I'm looking for a good acne medication that really works. What is the best acne medication for a good price, thats cheaper than proactiv?
Try Cetaphil Cleanser, it's so natural to the skin that you can feel it just like water, odorless. And also try Panoxyl, start first with the low percentage. Me, I tried already other products that are also expensive but not as that effective. Try the two, I'm sure they will work fine for you. Take Care! Hope I will be a good help. c';,What is the best acne medication for a good price, thats cheaper than proactiv?
The tricky part about acne is that the problem can actually become worse if you overmedicate. That's because acne medication can overdry the skin, causing a boost in your skin's Sebum (oil) production. This results in...you guessed it - more acne.

So what's the long term solution? Find gentler solutions or even natural acne cures that won't shock your body into more breakouts. Here's what I recommend:

    - Use a glycerin based facewash. Glycerin is gentler and will balance the ph levels in your skin.

    - For body acne, try using an antibacterial soap to slowly dry out the skin. If your skin gets too dry, switch to a moisterizing soap like Dove to counterbalance the effect.

    - Wash your face only 2 times a day max and gently pat dry with a towel.

    - Use a gentle face moisterizer if the glycerin based face wash drys you out too much.

    - Eat almonds, fiber, drink lots of water and avoid excess sugar intake.

    - If acne medication isn't working or causing new breakouts, try applying egg whites to the pimples at night before bed. This natural remedy works great.

    - One of my favorite natural skin conditioners is wearing an ';oatmeal mask';. The oatmeal with smooth your skin while simultaneously absorb toxins and oils from your pores.

    - Lemon juice also dries up pimples and kills any bacteria in the infection.

For more great remedies, check out the Source link Below.

    Best of Luck!
There is new ';Clear Acne Healing System'; - ';Clear by Hydroderm鈩?quot; They offer free trial now and it works great.

You can read an article at http://livehealthyonline.com/acne-skin-c鈥?/a>

and just click on the banner at the end.

    Good luck
I hate to say it, but...

    there is no such medication.

ProActiv or Khiels are the only products that actually work, but they are expensive.

NOTHING that you find in Target or Walmart will cure your acne.

Try ProActiv. It really works. I would know.

And, if you just get the three-piece kit instead of the 7-piece, it's about 20 dollars.
I use AcneFree, too. I love it. I actually bought the three step ';kit'; at first but they started selling the ';Step 1'; cleanser in a big bottle by itself and now I just buy that. The lotion and the astringent was too much for my face but the cleanser alone works great.

    Good luck!

Types of cremes are fine (extra sensitive skin though), and are there any homemade remedies? Please make them somewhat inexpensive, but if they REALLY work and are expensive thats fine. How are some ways to get rid of acne? I've tried washing my face but my acne still stays. help?
There's actually a couple of remedies. First, Aspirin is the same thing as salicylic acid...the main ingredient in most acne medications. Take a couple tablets and crush them up very fine. Add a little water to make a paste, apply to affected area.

Also tea tree oil is a great remedy.

Another one I have used is peppermint soap with REAL peppermint extract. I found an all natural store that sold it. I washed my face twice a day with it, it was very cooling and refreshing, it cleared my acne up and it didn't irritate my face at all! Good luck! How are some ways to get rid of acne? try using a herb plant but sleep with it on your face wash it off in the morning.
    toothpaste. it drys them out
when I was younger a doctor told me to take zinc and iron tablets. I never had a break out after that
Cucumber - mashed or in juice form - can be applied to sensitive skin; unlike many other acne home remedies it doesn't dry your skin, on the contrary, it acts like a very gentle cleanser and moisturizer.Log on to http://tipsfromruby-acne.blogspot.com/ for a few home made tips to heal acne

What is the best acne and pimple treatments?

I get pimples and acne, but not huge breakout acne! What do you think is the best treatments for this? Nothing real expensive or are there any home remedys you know about? I would rather know about the treatments you can buy though.....................HELP!What is the best acne and pimple treatments?
Here's a simple formula for keeping the acne away.

    1. Go Buy two face cleaners: 1 clearsil pads and 1 apricot scrub

    - Use clearsil pad to clean your face every morning and before bed. (Wash face with water, dry, use pad, don't dry).

    - Apricot scrub. Use this at least once a week. Best to use every other day though. Easiest to use in shower. After use then use clearsil pad.

    2. Use rubbing alcohol for spot reduction. Dip Q tip in rubbing alcohol and apply to pimple before bed.

    3. Don't cause scars: Don't pick if you don't have to.

    4. Keep your hair clean. Our hair has so much oil in it (even dry hair). Many people don't realize that a lot of acne comes from hair. This means shower at least every other day.

    5. Keep your pillow case clean. Wash weekly. If you don't have washer and dryer then wash in bathtub. It holds a lot of oil!

    6. If you are a female you can also buy some concelear. If you can afford it buy oil free concelear (like Physicians Formula). If not then buy 99 cent concelear (wet n wild brand is cheap). You can use this to cover up acne while in public and for some reason i think it helps to wear it.

    7. Drinks lots of water!!!

If you can't afford to buy acne products listed above there are home remedy formulas.

Instead of clearsil pads apply rubbing alcohol with cloth.

Instead of apricot scrub mix oil free soap with sugar (I used to keep a glass jar of sugar in my bathroom).

If this doesn't work you can ask your doctor to prescribe Benzol Peroxide (use it in place of the cleansing pads), it's a bit stronger.

You can't get rid of scars until you've been acne free for 3 months. At this time you can start using scar meds. like Mederma.

Tip: Hot water opens pores so you can clean them out. Cold water closes them.

Tip: Don't ever rub face dry with a towel. Either blot dry or let air dry. Towel particles clog up pores.

    Additional Information:

If your skin gets dry after using products it probably means you have skin that's on the dry side to begin with. Buy a moisturizer or facial lotion that is oil free and use after applying cleansing product (and before applying makeup if you use it).

Hair is very oily. You should wash hair before bed to prevent this problem. And don't condition the top of your hair, only from the nape of the neck down.

REMEMBER: You have to use all steps for it to be effective.

Hope this helps! What is the best acne and pimple treatments?

Well, i had proactiv too..but that was a total waste of money for me..i guess it just depends on your skin type..because it didn't work for me.. but yeah..i use to have the same problem..not majorly bad acne..but enough to make me really self-conscious about the way my face looked..but..i found an answer for mine..its cheap..and it works great...guess what...ITS JUST PLAIN Dove Bar Soap...lol..ever since Ive started just using that...it works great...also..it helps to keep your hands off your face..i had a really bad habit of doing that in class..but i stopped..and..dont worry..if you eat chocolate..u can keep eating it..that doesn't effect acne..i thought it did too...but i still have the face book thing that Proactiv would give you..and they even said that it doesn't cause acne... hoped i helped you! good luck!
I use BeautiControl's All Clear skin set. They also have a body wash.

Check out the site listed below under source for more information or email me.
    Wear a mask.
try cellderm; u can even try the free trial check the link

It all depends on the type of skin and acne you have. I use zoderm and it's perfect. I only get the occasion pimple or two and it's not too rough for my skin.
    try a spot treatment.
Personally, I use proactive, but that is more expensive (I have constantly oily skin so it's worth it for me...but not horrid scary like those pictures they sometimes show in commercials -shudders-). You probably are getting acne on the small scale from the way you described it...

So if you just used a mask of some kind once a night you'll probably be fine. Everyone has different things that work for them, but I sometimes use Queen Helene ';The Original Mint Julep Masque';.

Or if you want to get individual pimples and not take the time of a mask, Principal Secret ';Blemish Buster Solution'; actually works on me (it takes a few days before the pimple is entirely gone and burns a little a few seconds after put on, but it does work more than other options that I've tried). Honestly though, you just have to experiment to see what works on your skin. Neutrogena is a good brand to look into as well. Best of luck.
You have to attack acne where it starts, with your diet. For me, diet was the cause and solution. Topical medications fight the symptoms. Start by eliminating trans fats and eating more fruits and vegetables. Once you start cleaning up the inside of your body, by eating properly, the outside of your body (your skin) will be get cleaned up too. I started a website to document my problem and solution.

    http://www.fredstown.com/acne.html

You might find it helpful to read my story. Just remember to eat an all natural/organic diet with lots of fruits and vegetables. Stay away from processed foods. Use mild, all natural cleansers and don't pick at your face. Get lots of sleep and enough water for your body weight. Remember, clean body = clean skin. While you're waiting for your skin to clear, remind yourself that acne is a challenge that you will overcome soon. Once you're rid of it, tell all your friends how you did it. That's what I'm doing. God Bless.
Try this protein mask it's great for the skin! Mix 1 tablespoon of egg white with a squirt of lemon juice and beat the mixture till frothy and appy it on your face, Leave for 10 minutes or until it has dried. Amazing results!
Arbonne acne line. Has wash, toner, lotion and vitamins and is not very expensive. It is only available through a consultant. I just became one. You can email me directly on yahoo. wendy_healthybodymindspirit
I LOVE PROACTIVE it works super good for me

or other wise St. Ives which is probably the second best it helps with acne and moisturizes your skin which u can find any where (target, wal-mart)

or like clean and clear or something like that
    Proactive...

    Would Jessica Simpson lie???

    Think about it.
Proactive is good, I have been used for 6 month, it was really works for me. But besides to use external product, I think you really need to care what do you eat everyday. Avoid spicy food, fried food, greasy food, more fruit, vegetable are good for you Because good looking skin is inside out.

I need to wear an open-back formal dress for a special occasion. Know any remedies or regimines that have worked for you?How can I clear acne and dark spots from my back within a 6weeks?
You may need to go to the doctor to get it but Clindoxyl cream is AMAZING!

I have permanent acne on my chest that has been there for YEARS and after using Clindoxyl for a few days it goes away. I should tell you though, if you stop using it, the acne does come back.

By the way, Proactive sucks and doesn't work. How can I clear acne and dark spots from my back within a 6weeks?
Cucumbers and vinegar, not at the same time, alternate, it works wonders!
Use this formula mix 50% warm pure honey and 50% natural almond oil. Apply to back at bedtime for 20 minutes, then wash off with warm water. Do this everyday.
I use proactive, it really doesnt help much for a while but then it stops acne, it doesnt do much for dark spots but if you cant get rid of acne by that time then buy dermablend http://www.dermablend.com/index.aspx
You should try placing cucumbers on your back--its great for blackheads and pimples. Also be sure to wash it morning and night with a mild soap/cleanser. Check out http://www.realhomeremedies.com for more acne remedies and tips.

What is the best acne treatment for teens?

I have mild acne but my current face wash, which I've been using up until now with good results, is no longer working. What is the best daily face wash/treatment?What is the best acne treatment for teens?
for me, those face wash things never worked but i found something really simple that worked for me, and i love it cuz its completely cheap and easy and quick. i totttttally swear by it! here's what you do:

    1. fill up your sink with steaming hot water

    2. put your face over the bowl of the sink and put a towel over your head, allowing you to steam your face without the steam escaping. this opens your clogged pores.

    3. stay like this for 3-5 minutes, then drain the sink and wash your face with your regular cleanser and warm water.

    4. finish with a splash of cold water to close your pores

    5. finally, apply any spot treatment you might have such as clearisil to any blemishes

i know it looks like a lot, but its cheap and it honestly works. plus you don't have to buy anything so there's nothing to lose by trying it. it usually takes about a day after doing this for your zits to start going away. i usually do this about once a week but if your acne is bad you may want to do it more often. good luck :)What is the best acne treatment for teens?

go to a dermotologist. mine perscribed me an antibiotic topic gel called clindamycin. ive been using it for about a week now and ive already seen results. my bumps have gone down and my face is really soft and barely oily at all. my doctor is also going to give me a system called obagi clenziderm which is suppose to work AMAZINGLY!!! ive read many reviews about this product and it sounds like it really works. im going to start it in a week. so if you want to know how it works for me , email me. im excited about clear skin:) you dont need harsh pills. they can do alot of damage!!! hope this helped. best of luck

I saved money on it at skincleansingsystem.com at the time which was helpful.

You should really look into this stuff and if you can to assure the best results, get the 3 month supply because if it doesn't work it will still save you butt on the return policy.

Well good luck and best wishes.
There are many good acne treatmentns for teens but If you really want to cure your acne there are two recommended solutions that should combined together (if you can afford it) for best results.

Firstly and more important in my opinion, you must learn how you should fix the internal problem that's causing your acne, not just masking the symptoms or getting relief.

There are only few recommended Ebooks and acne cure programs that can teach you exactly how to cure your acne from the inside.

Where medicine has failed them the authors have done their own research and found a way to overcome acne. In their programs they share their valuable knowledge with other acne sufferers. In any case, be very careful because many of them are pure crap with little value.

You can learn about one of the best guides that helped many people to treat their acne naturally in this helpful article:

    http://www.squidoo.com/Acne-Free-In-3-Da鈥?/a>

The second thing that you need to do is to get good acne skin product that will be suitable for your skin.

There are hundreds of acne skin care products available in the market in these days and it's not easy to choose the product that will give you the best results.

When choosing your product make sure to check that you get at least 2 months full guarantee. Some of the big names in the industry are:

ClearPores, Acuzine, Acnezine, Proactiv, Vilante and some others.

I personally used the Clearpores cleansing system and was very satisfied with the results. You can find a lot more about Clearpores here:

    http://www.clear-pore.info

I hope that these tips will be helpful for you
I use (and LOVE) Neutrogena Advanced Solutions, its a pack of three products that work miracles. You can find it at target. Then I use ProActiv sulfur mask (you can get it on Ebay or Amazon without buying the whole set) when I get a zit, its practically gone by the next morning. I also take a bit and rub it all over my skin until it blends in before I put on my makeup in the morning (only if your a girl/ like wearing makeup and are a boy ahaha) It's a good way to make your pores look smaller and prevent your makeup from making acne worse. If you can't find anything that works for you, go see a dermatologist(: Goodluck!
the best and most effective way to get rid of acne (even if its mild) is by attacking the root causes of why you have acne in the first place. For a facial wash, you can use lemon juice. Dilute it with water if its too strong - leave on face for about 10 min, then rinse with cool water.

One of the ways you can learn how to cure your acne forever is through this natural and safe method http://www.squidoo.com/remediesforpimple鈥?/a>
I tried that Proactive for quite a while with good results.

Recently I have quit using soaps all together and just use warm water and a smooth cloth and clean carefully. The soaps all have a tendancy of washing away the good oils and the bad oils so your body produces more oil to make up for what you just washed away! So using harsh chemicals actually makes your skin more oily. It's a business and that's what they want. These companies would go out of business if their product worked too well!

My skin has never been as clear as it is now! Ever!!
what works for me is the neutrogena acne stress control wash. it is hypoallergenic and comedogenic. you can buy it almost everywhere.

How do I treat acne and the scars it leaves behind?

I have tried nearly everything: Proactiv, antibiotics, shots to the face, over the counter creams, and just about everything. My acne goes away and then comes back. Not only that but it leaves scars behind as well as brown dots where the zits were. Can anyone suggest anything for acne, the scars, and the brown marks? How do I treat acne and the scars it leaves behind?
Ok, this is bacteria and it spreeads from one to form another. Do not touch your face unless you have washed your hands very, very well in soap and water. Our hands touch germs and bacteria all the time. Be very diligent. Change your pillow case often. Buy witch hazel and cotton bals and antibiotic ointment and q-tips. Every night take one cot. ball to each pimple and clean with witch hazel. Throw away. Use another on the next one, throw away. When done, let it dry and then take a q-tip and put ointment on each one...use clean q-tip on each one. Buy this at the dollar store. Then leave it on at night. you can use a cloth on your pillow to change or flip and then change to keep this clean. You also need to make a solution of salt water really warm to hot and soak a thick washcloth in it and apply to face at other times or even before you do this other routine at night. Let the cloth just lie on your face, resting, do not spread around. Let it draw the impurities out...press it and let it stay in one place. this will soften and draw. Now when you see a change you can start to just do the cleaning with witch hazel, use your judgement. But, do not touch your face during the day until you clean your hands well. Even restrooms are nasty!!! In the morning just use the witch hazel, it is an astringent and a PH balancer. Also, don't eat greasy chips and sodas and chocolate. All the sugar feeds bacteria and yeast which plays a role in the infection. I wish You luck. Use witch hazel for the rest of your life. It's cheap and it works. How do I treat acne and the scars it leaves behind?

The best treatment I've ever used for acne is antiperspirant. I don't think there's anything you can do about scars, except maybe dermabrasion, a surgical procedure.
I'll tell you the same thing someone told me: see a one dermatoligist. Rubbing alcohol (not the drink kind) or witch hazel might also help.
If you鈥檙e looking for accurate acne information, best to see a dermatologist. Some people believe doctors are predisposed to take the easy way to deal with acne鈥?prescription drugs. But, with many, this simplistic answer may not be the appropriate course of action. Some feel that such prescription drugs just treat the symposium and not the underlying cause. But, a local dermatologist is still your best starting point.

For me personally, I discovered a great informational acne treatment site. Not only is there good information/articles but I got their audio e-book and following it鈥檚 advice can now say that my acne is a thing of the past! Keep in mind, were all different and there are various types of acne, so what works for some may not be totally effective for all.

Bottom line, hang in there, you will get past this! Sincere best wishes and good luck.

There is a product called ';Acne Free: Acne scar fading peel'; that you can buy in the store. It is a little pricey (like $20) but it is for acne scars. Sort of like a do-it-yourself microdermabrasion kit. You should try it

What are some cheap acne pills that work and dont give you sidafects?

Since i do have acne what pills would work, that i didnt have to get a prescription for. And not over 20 dollars. And no birth control haha. What are some cheap acne pills that work and dont give you sidafects?
If you could only take one pill to treat your acne then I highly suggest taking Chelated Zinc. Not any ordinary Zinc will work, it must be ';chelated';. This will cost you about $4 for a month's worth. What are some cheap acne pills that work and dont give you sidafects?
Not over $20? How about free?

Maybe you should try easing up on the cleansers.

Like any other body system, your skin oils will become heavier and thicker the more it gets used, or in this case, need to be replaced.

Sometimes cleaning too much (overcleaning) can cause your skin to produce more oil, as your body can't figure out why it's all being stripped away.

Also, lay off the sodas and colas. I pretty much stopped a while back, and it's done wonders for me.

Try drinking some more water, too. It will take some of that pore-clogging crap out of your system when you pee (which should be clear).

Oh, and go easy on the deep-fried and breaded foods, too.

It takes a concerted effort and a few weeks, but if you actually do all these instead of just saying you will, you can actually get much clearer skin.

    No over-priced crap needed!
I can point out to you acnezine, yes it's a little bit more expensive. But it is doing great things, I took it and it worked extremely well for me.

Also it is good to clean your face often while you are using it.

What is the best acne treatment for your back?

I have struggled with back acne for a long time, and it is embarrassing to wear swimsuits and tank tops. I have heard of Murad acne spray, but I'm not sure if it works. What treatments/washes/sprays are the most effective? What is the best acne treatment for your back?
Most acne that occurs from your chin and downward is mostly due to an imbalance of hormones and poor diet. Most topical creams and cleansers will not work. Acne starts from within so you have to treat from the inside. Drink *lots* of water (with fresh lemon wedges...helps cleanse the liver) do not eat a lot of refine sugars and dairy...if you like your dairy...switch to organic...no hormones added in the dairy...which regular dairy has a lot of estrogen [same with chicken] ) So look for more into the organic foods....all those additives, pesticides and chemicals that you ingest does havoc on your skin. And when you cleanse your skin...use a mild soap...not any of those harsh acne fighting soaps...you are just irritating the skin with all of those chemicals as well. Sensitive skin needs a mild cleanser. Also make sure your bed sheets and pillow cases are changed on a regular basis as well. These are just a few pointers I have...don't have time to go through everything...it is a long battle but you will get there...good luck...I know what you are going through :(What is the best acne treatment for your back?

Mix a little bit of vinegar and lemon juice and dab a cotton swab into it. Put it on the places where you have the acne. It works great and it ususally takes effect the next day. Good luck.
Stuff you see on TV is all B.S. believe me I've tried them all, such as proactive.

Have you talked to a doctor? The best stuff out there is the stuff your doctor and/or a Dermatologist can give with a prescription. Some treatments require a little patience but if you apply them as often as your doctor instructs then you will be acne free and stay acne free like I have for over 2 years now and still going strong.
there is isotane which is a prescription drug, that works really well but it has bad side affects like dry and sensitive skin and can cause depression, or there is 'natralia nourish'.

that you can get over the counter and it works fairly well

trust me, i know from experience
Two things have always worked for me (who has had baddddd bacne) and honestly the two best things to use are: Neutrogena acne body wash (it's orange) and honestly, bar soap. Bar soap is really good for your skin, and it cleared my skin up more than anything else I could have used. It takes away your body oil and it clears your skin up fast. AND it's cheap!
I KNOW PEOPLE SAY PROACTIVE WORKS, BUT IT DOES NOT WORK FOR EVERYONE!! TRUST ME I HAVE USED IT! i HIGHLY suggest you go see a dermatologist!! if you need to find one in your area, call your doctor. they should prescribe you with a topical treatment called differin. that works well, but i suggest you ask to be prescribed a pill. that works wonders and will get rid of acne all over your body!

    hope this helps :]

    PS

DONT USE OVER THE COUNTER PRODUCTS!!
I use aloe vera cause I get it too. and some of the times it is kind of embarrasing like you said but just put the aloe vera and it shouldget the oil out of your skin in no time.

i have bacne too. in the summer, it clears up. i guess from the sun and chroline from the pool. but i still use this brand called Oxy. It will dry all of the zits away!!!! Good luck
Use the Neutrogena Acne Body Wash...it worked wonders for me. I had horrible embarrasing back acne until I started using that stuff. It is amazing.
Wash with bar soap every day and also apple cider vinegar works pretty well to dry out the skin.
When I stopped using regular body wash and started using the same bar soap that I used on my face, my back really got better. Try Dove beauty bar. Works wonders, face and body!
I used proactive, worth ever penny. I had acne so bad, I had to wear boxer shorts over my underpants, so my legs wouldn't touch each other, that's how broke out I was.
neutrogena acne soap for the body.
acnee free, walmarts version of proactiv
Anything off the Clearasil line or you could do what I do and use rubbing alchol.
My nephew had acne pretty bad all over, he uses Proactive and it works well for him.
i know you have probably heard this

    but proactive is the best

i have been using it for years
    go the naked way
well, stridex pads work pretty well. proactive is nice too
here stuff i do to get rid of acne all over
