What is the difference between an acne cleanser and an acne washer?

Which one do you use first?What is the difference between an acne cleanser and an acne washer?
I have suffered with acne for years and the acne cleanser is generally a little more harsh and deep cleansing than the washer. I would use the washer first to remove surface dirt and oil and then the cleanser to deep clean.
