What is the best acne product out there today?

I have a mild to moderate case but I haven't been able to find anything that works. I've tried Proactiv and it worked well for a few years but then it progressively got worse and worse. I've just recently switched to AcneFree and it has made my face break out in spots it never did while on Proactiv! I have also tried some topical treatments from the dermatologist but nothing seems to be working. I also want to keep the cost down. Does anybody have any suggestions or opinions? What is the best acne product out there today?
Here are just a few tips to treat them so they would disappear and not multiply.

First of all, when you see a small pimple, try to avoid the temptation of popping it. Popping it can cause it to multiply as it can spread the infection underneath the skin and the next morning you'd find dozens of them on your face! If ever you do pop a zit, make sure you wash it with soap and water or some alcohol to avoid the risk of infection.

Second, wash your face morning and night using mild soap or facial wash. You need to keep your face clean but you don't need strong cleansers to do this. Stay with the mild ones so you would avoid irritation.

Third, choose the right toner. Toner is the new astringent as it's a lot gentler to the skin. After washing your face, apply facial toner.

Fourth, exfoliate. Don't exfoliate your skin everyday! Exfoliate every three days and use a gentle scrub. Don't use a product that once used would make your face feel like it's been scrubbed by sandpaper. Your facial skin is really sensitive and it can't handle such beating. Be gentle with it.

Lastly, get enough sleep. Not enough sleep can cause pimple breakouts so make sure you get 8 hours of sleep a night. Sleep is a very important thing as it reduces your stress level. Stress influences acne breakouts so in order to reduce your stress level, get some sleep! When you have plenty of sleep, you don't only get rid of acne but you feel much happier too!

I don't know if any pharmacies stock Acnezine but I do know that you should purchase it directly from the manufacturer and read more about the product via the offical site http://www.acnezine.com/?aid=853116

Best Of Luck! What is the best acne product out there today?
Dear friend,

I totally understand your situation because I've been through that also for a long time but one of my friends suggest to me a web site that really changed everything.

In the start, I thought it's not real or a scam but when I tried it, it's actually good and working fast (for 2 days only). Yah, I'm serious, in only 2 days I started to see the difference. My ACNE are getting less, the black heads are gone and the black spots of my old pimples are fading.

I'm happy now and I'm truly thankful for my friends.

Enjoy it.

Have a good day.
Stay away from HARSH CHEMICALS that dry and irritate your skin. Stuff like proactive may work at first, but in the long run all that benzoyl peroxide damages the skin. FYI proactive destroyed my face.

What worked for me was avalon organics wash, toner and mosturizer. it is all natural and has calming borage oils (good oils that are non comedogenic). Use that beofre bed and before putting on make up. Also, use pomada de azufre as a spot treatment. It is 10% sulfur ointment and it works wonders. it is kinda smelly so use it at nite and be sure to mosturize....it's all natural too. the pomada de azufre is on $5....avalon organics stuff are about $10-15 bucks each (wash, toner, and mosturizer) so you'll spend aroun $35-$45, but it lasts for about 3 months.

hope this helps and good luck

by the after using proactive i had horrible cycstic acne that was painful and itchy. it was EVERYWHERE on my face, i never acane that bad in my entire life, once i returned proactive adn switched o avalon organics my face cleared up.....avalon also helps with the scars =D
Go visit your doctor, but remember.

IT'S NOT THE FOOD'S YOU EAT. It's been scientifically PROVEN that the foods you eat do NOT affect acne..it's the food's your around. My doctor even told me so. For example: you can eat all the mcdonalds you want, but if you work in mcdonalds all day, you're most likely to have worse skin then the person who eats it.

Go to your doctor and have him set up a line of treatments for you. I 've been on Accutane for a couple months now, and it is AMAZING.

Nothing used to work for me, but this just made my skin beautiful. I heard that sometimes Proactiv does that to some people. Just don't give up, try accutane and see how it works. if it doesn't work, your doctor might be able to perscribe something else.

GOOD LUCK!

sincerely,

a fellow..yet past acne sufferer.
I tried EVERYTHING including acne fighting face wash that cost $150 per bottle (!!!!!!).

those acne treatments work for MOST skin types but then there are those people (us) who have different skin that wont respond well to anything.

In the end the only thing that works is to get 20 minutes of sunlight on your face every day/every other day. I know it sounds crazy but the sun gets rid of the bad oils on your face and it obviously all natural.

It's the only thing that has every worked for me....
im completely in love with mario badescu products they are a little pricey but cheaper than proactiv ($20 for cleanser but its hugeeee!!! bigger an a bottle of water!!!!!) you can go to the website and they will send u samples of some of the products for free!!! it cleared up my cystic acne in about 2 weeks!!!!

http://mariobadescu.com/questionnaire.as鈥?/a>

fill this out in a few days u will get an email just follow the instruction and in about a week you will get ur free samples!! i promise they are amazzzzzzzziiiiiiiinnnnnnnnnnnnggggggggg鈥?youve got nothing to lose if u at least try it
First, you might want to consider changing your diet by staying away from the greasy foods...second you need to drink at-least 8 glasses of water a day...I had terrible adult acne and I started drinking more water and staying away from the salty, greasy and junk foods..My skin has improved tremendously.. I can almost say it is flawless, also Avon have some excellent products for acne that is very inexpensive you might want to look into..
Proactiv is highly recommended but you should know it has the same medical formulation as Clearasil, which costs much less. If you can get a lotion with aloevera base that is also very good.
try the brand origins you can get it at dillards ....it is amazing
ask your doctor to prescribe you

Aczone dapsone gel 5% IT WORKS

Discover The Best Acne Products And How You Can Cure Acne in Just Seven Days Or Less

Acne can cause lack of confidence for men, woman and especially teenagers. As a woman I hated going out in public whenever my acne was bad. I would put lots of make up on just to try to conceal my acne. I can guarantee if you're a woman you've done the same. Doing this is of course just made my acne worse and resulted in unpleasant skin blotches.

The best acne products profess to cure acne quickly and easily. Having tried most of the top acne products out there, I believe most are just rubbish. And at best keep acne at bay for awhile without actually curing the problem.

After a visit to my doctors he advised me to do two things.

First of he advised me to change my diet; remove oily and greasy foods such as burgers and fries. I realised the food you eat play a major role in acne problems. In the east for instance where they have a vastly different diet to us in the west they have no real acne problem to speak of.

Only now as the east is adopting a more western approach to food, i.e., fast food outlets and acne is becoming a problem. This was a real wake up moment for me so when my doctor told me to avoid fatty, greasy fast food. I quickly cut them out of my diet. And guess what happened, my acne problems improve dramatically.

Switch to a different kind of diet did not actually cure. But it has shown some improvement.

So what are the best acne products out there on the market today? Acnezine is a product that has been proven to work for some people

Acne is defiantly caused by unnatural imbalances in the body and a natural product that helps with that is Acnezine. Acnezine uses antioxidants to help eliminate free radicals that are dangerous to skin and promote infections. Acnezine fights inflammation, to reduce redness and it works to heal damaged skin, naturally! All in all it's a good product.

The best acne products use natural ingredients to cure acne and these are the ones which have helped me get rid of the acne that plagued me for years.
It's not so much a specific product as it is a lifestyle and getting the right bunch of products to address the specific needs of your skin:

1.) Oil-free facial cleanser, made for the face. Stay away from soaps, which are too harsh and drying!!! My suggestion are Neutrogena's Oil-Free Acne Wash Cream Cleanser (cream cleansers are a good choice esp w/ dry skin, which often causes excessive oil production on the face) and Clean%26amp;Clear's Foaming Facial Cleanser for Sensitive Skin (acne suffers have sensitive skin). Get stuff with Salicylic Acid, which makes your skin peel (somewhat rids the acne scars) and therefore causes the newer skin from underneath to replace the damaged one.

2.) Benzoyl Peroxide gel or cream, which is the main ingredient in ProActive and many other acne medications. It kills acne bacteria and can be purchased in a tube at a drug store for much cheaper than ProActive or AcneStop. Use small amounts with a q-tip, and gently dab onto specific pimples, not a whole section of your face - or your face will look bee-stung! You're going to feel a bit of irritation and see redness, but that means the medication is working.

3.) Do not take that first person's advice about getting 20 minutes of sunlight on your face as a form of remedy. Sunlight will only make your skin worse (facial burns, freckling, skin cancer, etc.), so stay away from the sun!!! Apply a facial moisturizer on a daily basis with sun protection of at least 15, but 30 is best! A good, inexpensive one is Olay Complete All Day Moisture Lotion SPF 15 for Sensitive Skin. Wear visors or other hats when required to be in the sun for a long time (essentially 5 minutes and up) or stay in shaded areas.

4.) Limit use of makeup, especially foundations and concealers, to special occasions. Acne and enlarged pores are signs that your skin can't breathe well, and you don't want to increase chances of bacteria on or in your skin by creating more layers with cosmetics on your face. And if you use make up, make sure it's oil-free and noncomedogenic (meaning it doesn't block pores). It'd help if it comes with SPF too.

5.) Drink more water and stay from alcohol and soda, which dehydrates skin. Don't smoke too!

6.) Shower nightly. Excessive oil, sweat, or bacteria somewhere else on your body can cause breakouts elsewhere Make sure to clean your shower/tub regularly. Avoid hot showers; cool water is best. Know that different sections of your body have different skins, and you want to be using the right soaps or cleansers. For example, facial cleanser for the face, neck, and chest if your breakout there, but regular soap or a gentle body wash (I suggest Body Essence in Tea Tree Oil Body Wash - can find at Wal-Mart) for normal skin elsewhere.

7.) Hands away from the face!!! If you do pop a pimple, I suggest with very clean, sanitized hands and extremely careful as to not cause ugly scarring.

8.) Doctors will suggest all sorts of medications, but the long-term use of all sorts of drugs will only dull your complexion. Acne is usually caused by many factors (hormonal, bacteria, lack of exfoliation), so don't believe anything that claims to absolutely get rid of acne for the rest of your life. Always know the side effects and the possible ones too if you take up a medication, especially pills.

9.) Eat more veggies, which encourage cell production. Stay away from greasy food; I'm not as much concerned about the actual eating of it as the grease that gets around your mouth, which can block pores and cause pimples. BTW, make sure to clean your face well after eating or drinking. Salty foods will dehydrate you too, so drink plenty of water after eating that. Dehydration is bad for the skin and can cause major oil production on the face.

10.) Best way to get beautiful, glowing complexion is to get your sleep and the right amount of hours for you (there's no such thing as everyone needing a specific amount of sleep; varies from person to person). Also, avoid sleeping on your face or having your sheets/comforter over your face. Change your pillow cases regularly, and wash your sheets.

11.) De-stress, de-stress, de-stress!!! If you're stressed, your skin is guaranteed to show it! Know some hobbies or activities you can do to calm you, esp. when you've got a big day coming up and you want a great complexion.

12.) Optional: Toners. Toners are alcoholic, no matter what ads and ppl will say, which means it's drying to the skin. However, with limited and proper use, followed by proper facial moisturizing, use of a toner or astringent can help your skin a lot. They are good at extra-cleaning the face and getting the toxic that washing didn't get off (just check out your cotton ball after you've used it). Also, they help get rid of dead skin cells that can clog pores and cause breakouts.

13.) Don't be obsessed about the latest acne products, what the fashion magazines recommend, or what some celebrity's beauty regime is. The goal is to find what works for you and your skin.
I've been in that situation and there is really nothing you can do about it. There are things you can do to try to reduce the blemishes and get rid of acne/pimples temporarily but you will always be finding yourself cleaning your face or your body depending on where it's at.

I mean of course your acne should go away eventually but for some this is the case their whole life.

I'm 29 years old and have been suffering from these little pests since I was a teenager. I tried all sorts of face washes from the local grocery store and what not, but nothing seemed to work. If anything it would just make my skin dry and itchy.

Literally the best acne face wash I've ever used has been this stuff called clearpores. It has got rid of the acne to quickest and has been a success ever since I got it. It's unique cause of it's herbal supplement you take a long with it that helps your skin from the inside out. I saved money on it at skincleansingsystem.com at the time which was helpful.

You should really look into this stuff and if you can to assure the best results, get the 3 month supply because if it doesn't work it will still save you butt on the return policy.

Well good luck and best wishes.
