What is the best acne medication you have ever used?

I have used alot of stuff.

so i was wondering if any one knows any really good working stuff that you ahve used yourself.





I really dont have pimples i just have blackheads which is annoying, and the occasional pimple.

I've been in that situation and there is really nothing you can do about it. There are things you can do to try to reduce the blemishes and get rid of acne/pimples temporarily but you will always be finding yourself cleaning your face or your body depending on where it's at.





I mean of course your acne should go away eventually but for some this is the case their whole life.





I'm 29 years old and have been suffering from these little pests since I was a teenager. I tried all sorts of face washes from the local grocery store and what not, but nothing seemed to work. If anything it would just make my skin dry and itchy.





Literally the best acne face wash I've ever used has been this stuff called clearpores. It has got rid of the acne to quickest and has been a success ever since I got it. Julie's answer is right. I used to have terrible acne, and I was allergic to benzoyl peroxide. Though if you have more blackheads than pimples, you'll want to use exfoliating face wash more than acne creams. If you go get a facial, you can have them clear out your pores for you. Expensive, but gets the majority of your face clear.
your skin sounds alot like mine! i use st.ives apricot scrub-blackhead %26amp; pimple control. it invigorates really well and it takes out alll the dirt oil and crap hiding in those pores,while leaving your skin really smooth! :) and wow i really sound like a commercial right now... but it works give it a try ;) i tried it years ago and its the only thing ill ever use! :)

You shoudl use for blackheads: Clean and Clear Blackhead Scrub.


For pimples: Clean and Clear ANYTHING!

differin was the best i ever used.. if you have zits.. not a full red face.... just add to the zit.. and over night.. its gone.....





now differin is very expensive (100 bucks +)... so buy the generic substitute with the exact same active ingrediants... called ZapZyt...(like 8 bucks). im sure you saw it in 'meet the spartans'... you can buy it in wal-mart
panoxyl 10% benzol peroxide... they have it at most drugstores, this works pretty well for me, however i'd suggest you go to a dermatoligist if you have the money to buy what they recomend! it is usually more powerful and works faster!
Retin A, Rx, benzoyl peroxide, oral antibiotics, topical cleocin, dove soap. mineral powder makeup, no liquids too much bacteria. later, obagi nuderm. and peel and laser, 20yrs after first line meds above inc BCP,

BenzaClin works like a charm, a cream used at night and prescribed by any doctor.
To get rid of blackheads, I'd use stuff with salytic acid(forgot how to spell it) and some of the creams smell really good.
I really liked Murad..It is the only thing that has worked for me. It has a mask that comes with it that really helps with blackheads too.

if proactive doesnt work dont use anything w/ peroxide cuz thats what proactive is. . . use something w/ salicylic acid
for black heads its gunna sound stupid but the Clean and Clear blackhead eraser worked really well for me.
